Responsibilities/Expectations
Required: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR bachelor's degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and (4) four years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry
Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited college or university
Job Requirements
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Preferred (not a MUST): Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
Knowledge of reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements
Working knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE, etc.)
Preferred: Experience with PLCs
Preferred: Project Management experience
Preferred: Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projects
Preferred: Supports the designing and implantation of Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems

Experience in supporting procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with established industry contacts for sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers
Preferred: Experience with participation of the commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with design specifications

Responsibilities/Expectations
- Works on the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities
- Promotes the integration of advanced technologies, including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs
- Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliability
- Provides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilities
- Participates in complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraints
- Ensures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needs
