HireQuest Direct is seeking WSDOT/State of WA Certified Traffic Control Flaggers to join
our on-call roster supporting projects across Olympia, Elma, Chehalis, and Port Angeles.
This is great for certified flaggers looking for flexible, part-time work with consistent
opportunities based on project demand.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and professional traffic control in active work zones
- Follow approved traffic control plans and supervisor direction
- Communicate clearly with crews and the public to maintain safety
- Set up/assist with traffic control devices as directed
- Maintain focus and awareness in changing outdoor conditions
Requirements
- Current WSDOT / State of Washington Flagger Certification (required)
- Must be 18
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Reliable vehicle / transportation to job sites (required)
- Full PPE required (some PPE may be available in limited quantities)
- Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varied conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
Pay & Mileage
- $22.50/hr
- Mileage is added for distances over 50 miles roundtrip (per policy)
