What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at HireQuestNW?
HireQuest is excited to announce the opening of our new Tacoma branch, and we are currently building our workforce for a variety of general labor assignments throughout Tacoma, Puyallup, and Sumner.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are ready to work and comfortable performing physical labor in a variety of jobsite environments.
Typical Assignments May Include:
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting with fence installation
- Moving and lifting construction materials
- Lifting and handling concrete bags
- Assisting with concrete pouring
- Jobsite cleanup and general site support
- Other general labor duties as assigned
Because we work with multiple clients, assignments, schedules, and job duties may vary.
Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to perform physical labor for shifts up to 8 hours.
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors depending on the assignment.
- Must arrive on time and be dependable.
- Must follow all jobsite safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Full PPE is required for these assignments.
- Reliable transportation to jobsites in Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, and surrounding areas is strongly recommended.
PPE Requirements:
Depending on the assignment, required PPE may include:
- Hard hat
- Safety vest
- Work gloves
- Safety glasses
- Work boots or steel-toe boots
Registration Requirements:
