Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Sheet Metal Technician to join our growing team in the Lexington, SC area. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. Whether you are working in a shop environment or out on a field installation site, we need someone with a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork, fittings, and components according to blueprints or specifications.

• Operate shop equipment safely (e.g., shears, brakes, rollers, and punches).

• Measure, mark, and layout dimensions on materials using basic hand tools and measuring instruments.

• Ensure all installations meet local building codes and quality standards.

• Collaborate with team members and job site supervisors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or installation.

• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel to the shop and various local job sites.

• Skills: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings is highly preferred.

• Tools: Must possess basic hand tools standard to the trade.

• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather/job site conditions.

• Attitude: Strong reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
