Lead Java Developer

Rate: $75-85/hr on W2, No third party candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring

Boot, and Angular

• Lead and contribute to end-to-end system design and development, ensuring

high-quality, maintainable code

• Drive technical projects forward, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and priorities

stay aligned

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them

into optimal technical solutions

• Identify and implement process improvements across the SDLC, from

development through deployment

• Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve coding efficiency, automation, and

development workflows

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, guiding best

practices and coding standards

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and other engineering teams

Leadership Expectations

• Act as a technical lead on projects, ensuring work is properly scoped, assigned,

and tracked

• Coordinate team efforts to keep initiatives on schedule and align with goals

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, supporting their technical growth

• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies—and drive resolution

• Promote accountability and continuous improvement within the team

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in full-stack development

• Strong hands-on experience with:

o Java

o Spring Boot

o Angular

• Proven experience leading projects or guiding engineering teams

• Experience analyzing business workflows and translating them into technical

solutions

• Comfort working across the full development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code generation,

automation, optimization tools)

• Strong understanding of system design and architecture

• Experience improving or optimizing engineering processes and workflows
