Position Overview
Our client is seeking a senior Enterprise Agile Coach to serve as a strategic change agent and drive enterprise-wide Lean-Agile transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong SAFe 6, Scrum, Lean, Agile coaching, training, and organizational transformation experience.
This person will work with Scrum teams, product teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to improve Agile maturity, team performance, business value delivery, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach Scrum teams and leadership on SAFe 6, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean practices.
- Deliver SAFe training to teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Support Agile Release Train (ART) launches and execution.
- Identify and define Value Streams and support PI Planning.
- Coach teams toward high-performing, self-organizing, and empowered teams.
- Improve Agile metrics including flow, predictability, productivity, quality, and delivery.
- Develop and implement enterprise Agile transformation strategies and roadmaps.
- Partner with executives and stakeholders to establish a Lean-Agile mindset and culture.
- Identify and remove enterprise-level impediments affecting business agility.
- Support digital product and data-focused teams through Agile transformation.
- Develop and enhance Agile/Lean training materials and programs.
- Promote continuous learning, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach multiple product streams rather than focusing on a single Scrum team.
Required Qualifications
- SAFe 6 Certified SPC (SAFe Practice Consultant) – Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of Agile/Lean professional experience.
- 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach.
- 5 years of SAFe training and coaching experience.
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise Agile transformations.
- Experience training teams and leadership on:
- SAFe for Teams
- SAFe for Leadership
- SAFe for Scrum Masters
- Strong experience with SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, ARTs, PI Planning, and Value Streams.
- Strong enterprise-level stakeholder and leadership coaching experience.
- Experience supporting digital products and/or data platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare / Health Insurance industry experience.
- Experience with AI or AWS.
- Additional Scrum, Product, or Agile certifications.
- Experience working with large-scale digital product organizations.
