What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oil Field Worker position at HirePower?
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Bakersfield, CA 93308 (Worker will be traveling to different sites in different states, some times for a week, possibly 2 depending on the project)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-5 with overtime including weekends
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- TWIC card or ability to obtain
- 4 to 5 years related field experience
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic internet usage
- Strong mechanical aptitude/ability
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand oral and written instructions
- Ability to take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to travel to remote locations
- Ability to work extended irregular work hours
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Must have a clean driving record
Description:
Worker will be traveling to different sites in different states, some times for a week, possibly 2 depending on the project.
- Provide hands-on technical supervision and operating support, installation, repair and maintenance of valves and actuation and troubleshooting situations as required.
- Perform safe, compliant operations including equipment rig-up and rig-down.
- Willingness to promote the product and service line, good general attitude towards job duties, willingness to work rigorous schedule in inclement weather and varying condition, ability to drive long distances and follow rigorous safety and procedural guidelines from corporate and our customers.
