Supervisor, Production Maintenance Location: Coppell, TX or Edgewood, NY Salary: $70,000–$85,000 Bonus 10% Shift Differential Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–2:30 AM (Off-Peak) | 6:00 PM–6:00 AM (Peak Times) - About the Role We are seeking a Supervisor, Production Maintenance to oversee the Production Technical Support Department for a leading manufacturing/production operation. This role reports directly to the Manager/Sr. Director of Production Technical Support and plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, leading mechanics, and supporting equipment uptime. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone with strong mechanical, electrical, and high-volume production experience. Responsibilities Provide direction, coaching, and mechanical support to production maintenance mechanics. Monitor all work in progress to ensure consistent workflow and timely equipment repairs. Maintain accurate parts inventory and submit ordering requirements, including vendor pricing. Ensure all preventive maintenance activities are completed according to schedule. Stay current on emerging technologies and equipment used in production and technical support. Serve as acting manager when the Department Manager is unavailable. Meet or exceed Cost Per Unit targets (labor, overtime, inventory, etc.). Maximize machine throughput and ensure proper documentation and adherence to departmental procedures. Reward, recognize, and discipline team members as appropriate. Maintain personnel records for direct reports. Qualifications Associate degree or completion of a Technical/Trade School program. 5 years of experience operating and repairing production equipment. Strong proficiency with insertion and bindery equipment; electrical and electronic circuit experience required. Electrical/electronics repair experience is a plus. Familiarity with Jet/IQ reporting tools. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a high-volume production environment.
