Position: Property Maintenance Technician

Location: Nottingham, MD

Pay: $25/hour

Experience

• 3 years of residential maintenance experience
• Previous experience with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance.
  
  

Education: HVAC Certification is required.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Assist with basic repairs (tighten hardware, patch small holes, hang shelves).
• Unclog sinks and toilets; identify and report leaks.
• Replace light bulbs, reset breakers, and test smoke/CO detectors.
• Change HVAC filters and clean vents.
• Perform preventive cleaning to reduce mold, pests, and other issues.
• Clean and maintain appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, washer/dryer).
• Safely use basic tools (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, hammer, drill).
• Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues promptly,
  
  

Position Requirements

• Ability to be on-call 2 weeks at a time with 2 weeks off.
• Valid driver's license and insurance.
• Understanding of emergency shutoffs and following basic home safety practices.
