The Candidate:
This is techno-commercial position requiring experience in automation, controls, and switchgear and distribution/transmission transformers or other power equipment. HiReli is ideally looking for the candidate who is an engineer in the industry or is an industry specialist who wishes to transition to a position with commercial responsibility.

Purpose and Objectives of the Position:
The Inside Sales Support Specialistis a customer-facing technical sales position with the responsibility for implementation of the company’s goals and initiatives at the assigned accounts. These initiatives support the overall growth and profit plan of the company.
Experience in the power industry would be a plus (i.e., switchgear, controls, system protection, and distribution). Technical analysis and problem solving is required.
Meeting and Seminar Leadership
o Support HiReli customers and sales team, inclusive of Utilities and Commercial Industrial
o Provide technical and administrative assistance in the application, problem solving, proposal creation, training and required customer follow up.
o Manage a matrix of products and projects supporting HiReli customers, i.e., the right products and proposals for customer projects.
o Translate principals’ products and needs into HiReli customer focused action plans.
o Be an effective presenter of webinars and in-person presentations.
o This is a customer facing position with significant business closing activities in collaboration with the sales team.
Typical Position Requirements:
o Associates or BA/BS STEM degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
o 3-5 Years’ experience in the electrical power industry, or similar industry experience.
o Ability to quickly learn all products that HiReli is involved with.
o Ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
o Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook), Salesforce.com (SFDC) is a plus.
o Technical product and SFDC training will be provided.
o US Citizenship or Permanent US Residency.
Typical Activities:
o Technical support to sales, in person and via webinars, etc. including but not limited to:
· Sales opportunity creation in SalesForce CRM (SFDC)
· RFQ processing
· Specification Analysis
· Proposal and Quote preparation
· Order entry into manufacturer’s systems
· Order status tracking
· SFDC updates
· Customer notifications
o Provide solutions that minimize Human Interface Errors, improving safety.
o Specification coverage to develop informed preferences for HiReli products.
o Work with customers, sales team, and principals, on proposal requests and presentations.
o The primary customer contact for interface with the HiReli Team (Applied Technology, Customer Support, Factory FAEs, etc.)
o Monitoring incoming orders, assure compliance with proposals, coordinate with HiReli Customer Support.
o Project Administration including required customer updates.
o Product Administration – Communicating among Customers, Principals, and HiReli.
o Review terms, conditions, and contracts.
o Provide sales order updates to customers via SFDC.
o Schedule customer presentations, webinars, and factory visits.
o Coordinate field service / aftermarket support as needed.

o This position reports to the Manger, Customer Support
o Location > Home Office, routine sales travel is required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
