A precision manufacturing company operating within an FAA-regulated environment is seeking an experienced De-burr Technician to remove sharp edges and finish machined parts to exact specifications. This hands-on role requires a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Core Responsibilities
Remove sharp edges and burrs from machined parts using filing, sanding, grinding, masking, bead blasting, polishing, and related finishing techniques.
Blend and polish surfaces to match surrounding finishes without altering part dimensions.
Inspect finished components to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Assemble finished parts when required.
Operate manual, air-operated, and electric hand tools safely and efficiently.
Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Skills & Abilities
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficiency with common machine shop tools and finishing equipment
High attention to detail and surface quality inspection
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of de-burring experience using pneumatic and hand tools.
- Machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass FAA-compliant drug and alcohol testing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
