Echo Sonographer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations following established protocols
• Obtain patient clinical history and provide clear procedure explanations
• Analyze echocardiographic data and review completed studies for quality and completeness
• Prepare images and documentation for physician interpretation
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Document patient information accurately and communicate findings effectively
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification
• New graduates must obtain registry within 18 months of hire
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and ultrasound principles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in related field
• 1 years of cardiac ultrasound experience
• Additional vascular ultrasound credentials
• Experience with advanced echocardiography techniques
