Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations following established protocols
- Obtain patient clinical history and provide clear procedure explanations
- Analyze echocardiographic data and review completed studies for quality and completeness
- Prepare images and documentation for physician interpretation
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality
- Document patient information accurately and communicate findings effectively
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification
- New graduates must obtain registry within 18 months of hire
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and ultrasound principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in related field
- 1 years of cardiac ultrasound experience
- Additional vascular ultrasound credentials
- Experience with advanced echocardiography techniques
