- Establish and maintain quality standards, specifications, and inspection techniques.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and implement preventive measures.
- Train and educate employees on quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.
- Manage and maintain the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to address quality-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality control and implement necessary changes to improve quality processes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality management, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management system certifications is preferred.
