Psych Tech – Child/Adolescent (Contract)

Location: New York 14642
Pay Rate: $917 – $1,042
Schedule: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
Additional: Weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to child/adolescent psychiatric patients (ages 8–18)

• Assist with daily living activities, socialization, and psychiatric rehabilitation

• Communicate effectively with patients and report status changes to RN

• Participate in rounds and group therapy sessions as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Psych Tech experience

• Experience working with children/adolescents (ages 8–18) required

• Associate’s Degree in Psychology or Sociology: Required

• BLS (AHA): Required

• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
