Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication logs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control of pharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report on medication effectiveness and patient outcomes.
- Support the pharmacy in achieving sales and performance targets.
- Assist in the implementation of new pharmacy technologies.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
Experience/Qualifications
- Valid pharmacy technician certification and relevant state licensure.
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and goals.
- Proven experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and safety standards.
