Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Claremore, OK

Pay: $40 - 45/hr.

Contract: 10/01/2025 – 01/03/2026

Schedule: 40 hours weekly | Flexible shifts - may vary between days, nights, and different shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours)

Summary: Seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to support one of our facilities while performing a wide range of diagnostic testing and laboratory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Blood Bank and Pediatric laboratory procedures, with experience in Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis in compliance with established standards and procedures.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers.

• Conduct Blood Bank testing and support pediatric laboratory procedures.

• Record and interpret results accurately, ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support patient care.

• Maintain laboratory safety standards, equipment calibration, and inventory management.

• Support additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ laboratory technician experience is required.

• Registered Laboratory Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).

• Experience with Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers is preferred

• Blood Bank and Pediatric laboratory experience required.

• Current AHA BLS certification

• Phlebotomy skills preferred, but not required.
