Job Description: We are hiring for The Homestead CNA - FT Evenings/Weekends to work in a skilled nursing facility in Penn Yan, NY 14527. In this role, you will perform direct and indirect resident care within the scope of practice defined by your certification, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.

Shift Details:

• Shift: Full-Time Evenings (7.5-hour shifts)

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 shifts per week)

• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend required.

• Schedule Note: The client attempts to schedule two consecutive days off each week.

Key Requirements:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care.

• Monitor resident status and promptly report any changes to the licensed nursing staff.

• Ensure resident safety by utilizing proper positioning, transfer techniques, and safety equipment.

• Support nutritional needs, including meal delivery, tray preparation, and feeding assistance.

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in the facility's EMR system.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Certification: Current New York State (NYS) Nursing Assistant Certification.

• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of previous LTC experience (Must have been licensed for at least 1 year).

• Life Safety: Valid BLS certification (AHA or RQI certifications ONLY).

• Skills: Ability to provide age-specific care for adult and geriatric populations.
