Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Residential Home Improvement Project Manager to lead window and door replacement projects from installation handoff through final completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, field challenges, installation coordination, and homeowner communication while delivering a strong project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt production specifications to create installation solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Review sales contracts, product options, and project processes with customers to align expectations.
- Determine installation labor durations and material needs for each job site.
- Troubleshoot real-time site issues and provide direct support to installation crews.
- Resolve homeowner concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct pre-sale site visits with sales representatives to define scope and pricing.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of independent installation subcontractors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in home improvement or a closely related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Customer-service and conflict-resolution experience.
- Knowledge of residential construction techniques and site workflows.
- Experience recruiting and managing independent contractors.
- Window and door replacement project leadership, negotiation skills, adaptability, and team collaboration are preferred.
