We are seeking an Auto Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair newly manufactured vehicles before shipment or delivery. This position supports post-production quality by identifying and correcting vehicle concerns according to manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Inspect newly manufactured vehicles for mechanical, electrical, and functional concerns.
- Diagnose issues using scan tools, diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer service information.
- Complete assigned repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.
- Troubleshoot concerns involving engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Perform required rework and verify that completed repairs meet quality standards.
- Document inspection findings, repairs, and parts used.
- Work with production and quality teams to resolve vehicle concerns.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
- Automotive repair experience or relevant technical training.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to read repair instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Experience using automotive hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and accurate recordkeeping.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or vehicle-processing environment.
