Account Manager (US) | Austin, Texas (Remote)
Salary: $50,000–$55,000
Are you a commercially minded Account Manager who loves building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers grow?
We’re partnering with a fast-growing travel tech business that is transforming how attractions, leisure venues, and experience providers manage bookings, drive revenue, and grow their businesses.
With strong momentum across the UK and US, they’re now hiring an Account Manager to support their growing US customer base and play a key role in retention, renewals, and customer success.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling business at a key stage of growth, taking ownership of a portfolio of SMB customers across the US market.
You’ll be the trusted point of contact for your accounts, helping them get the most from the platform, ensuring long-term retention, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue.
This is a role for someone who enjoys blending relationship management with commercial ownership and hands-on problem solving.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Relationship Management
- Manage a portfolio of SMB customers post-sale as their main point of contact
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers across the US market
- Lead onboarding and early adoption to set customers up for success
- Run regular check-ins and account reviews, particularly during key trading periods
Commercial Growth
- Own renewals, retention, and upsell opportunities across your customer base
- Understand customer goals and recommend solutions that drive results
- Spot churn risk early and proactively manage outcomes
Customer Support & Product Knowledge
- Spend part of your time supporting customers via tickets and chat (higher initially)
- Troubleshoot issues and provide clear, confident guidance
- Feed recurring customer insights back into internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales within SaaS
- Comfortable managing SMB customers and business owners
- Experience owning renewals, retention, or upsell conversations
- Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships remotely
- Calm under pressure and able to problem-solve quickly
- Highly organised and comfortable managing your own priorities
Bonus Experience
- Exposure to attractions, hospitality, leisure, tourism, events, or bookings platforms
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
