Position Type:

- 75% Field
- Education/Licenses:
- NY Commercial Pesticide Applicator license (or the ability to obtain one)
- Proven experience in Pest Control
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong proficiency in completing both written and digital service documentation.
- Ability to use mobile software and handheld devices for data entry, routing, and service reporting.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and office personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and act on opportunities to recommend additional products or services that benefit customers.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Expected to be available if needed via phone and email for employee and client emergencies.
- Environment:
- 30% Inside, Residential/Commercial Properties, 70% outside environment where temperatures during the year can range.
- Driving or walking for long periods of time.
- Safety:
- Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Ability to climb stairs frequently while carrying equipment and supplies.
- Comfortable and able to stop, kneel, crouch or crawl through enclosed spaces for long periods of time. (I.E- Attics, crawl spaces, basements)
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Conduct Pest Assessments: Identify pest issues, determine the most effective treatment methods, and implement solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Apply Treatments Safely & Accurately: Administer pest control treatments following established schedules, safety regulations, and product label guidelines.
- Maintain Equipment & Tools: Properly operate, maintain, and secure all equipment assigned to your route to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Communication & Support: Engage with customers professionally to ensure satisfaction, provide expert recommendations, and discuss additional services that may enhance their pest management program.
- Serve as a Technical Problem Solver: Use your expertise to diagnose complex pest issues and deliver the most efficient, effective treatment strategies.
- Document Service Activities: Complete all required paperwork and electronic records promptly and accurately using company-provided mobile software.
- Manage Administrative Tasks: Prepare and maintain service-related documentation, including written and digital correspondence, following each appointment.
- Confirm Appointments: Contact customers to confirm scheduled services and ensure readiness for each visit.
- Coordinate with Office Staff: Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding job updates, service needs, and customer concerns.
