Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and leading recreational activities, games, events, and programs
- Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities
- Help prepare activity areas and organize necessary supplies
- Escort residents to and from scheduled programs as needed
- Support group and individual activities
- Assist with holiday celebrations, special events, and community outings
- Maintain accurate attendance and activity documentation
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Ensure activity spaces are clean, organized, and safe
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in recreation, activities, senior care, or healthcare preferred
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation:
- $17.00 per hour
- Consistent Sunday-through-Thursday schedule
