Maintenance Technician
Location: Alexandria, VA (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: First Shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday–Saturday (Approx. 50 hours/week)
Pay: Up to $30/hour
Job Summary
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a high-speed food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment while ensuring maximum uptime and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Repair motors, pumps, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
- Read electrical schematics and maintenance documentation.
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, and production operations.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of motors, pumps, conveyors, and industrial automation.
- Preventive maintenance experience.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of LOTO procedures.
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
