Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive programs by defining scope, objectives, and success criteria aligned with organizational goals.
- Coordinate multiple projects utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies such as SAFe or PMBOK to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, process mapping, and business process modeling to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Apply change management principles to support organizational transitions smoothly while managing risks through root cause analysis and risk management strategies.
- Supervise project teams by providing leadership, guidance on project scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera P6, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Manage project portfolios using PPM tools such as Jira, VersionOne, or Smartsheet to track progress, performance metrics like earned value management, and resource allocation.
- Conduct program reviews and status meetings using effective meeting facilitation skills; communicate progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Oversee vendor management activities including contract negotiations and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize data analysis skills for requirements analysis and data collection to inform decision-making processes.
- Promote continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma principles like Kaizen and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency and quality management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising large-scale programs with a strong track record of successful project delivery across diverse industries.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, PMBOK, and Lean Six Sigma frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in program development, scope management, cost control, budgeting, and schedule management using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams; excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and conflict management.
- Proficiency in project management software including Jira, Trello, Confluence, Workday or equivalent tools for project coordination and documentation.
- Skilled in requirements gathering, requirements analysis, process mapping, business process modeling and technical writing.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency through Lean or Kaizen practices.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure projects and vendor management processes; experience with ERP systems or content management systems is a plus.
