About the Opportunity
We are a well-established independent pharmacy serving the Luck, WI community, is seeking a
Staff Pharmacist
who can also operate as a
Pharmacist-in-Charge
. This role is ideal for a motivated, adaptable professional who thrives in a small-town environment and is eager to drive operational excellence, modernize workflow, and support a growing mail-order volume.
This position offers the unique opportunity to become a key leader in a high-volume independent pharmacy with strong ties to its community. For the right candidate, there is long-term potential for expanded management responsibilities—or even ownership consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a retail setting that supports the organization's PBM-aligned business model.
- Build and maintain strong patient and client relationships in a close-knit community.
- Accurately process, dispense, and verify prescriptions, including overseeing ~800 monthly mail-order scripts.
- Modernize pharmacy operations by leveraging technology, improving workflow speed, and enhancing efficiency.
- Track, analyze, and report pharmacy metrics using Microsoft Excel and SmartSheet.
- Maintain full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations as Pharmacist-in-Charge.
- Keep current with industry trends and competitive landscape developments.
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, potentially including store management responsibilities (3,000 sq. ft. location with additional retail/ice cream shop space).
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist in the State of Wisconsin
(new graduates welcome). - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office—especially Excel; comfort working with pharmacy data and SmartSheet.
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and capable of improving and streamlining processes.
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a two-person pharmacy environment.
