What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Therapist position at Hire Velocity?
Therapists are responsible for Conducting therapeutic groups for patients and documentation of these sessions in a timely manner ,having their notes completed for each group by the end of the day, providing individual and family counseling sessions as needed, completing psychosocial assessments or updates, treatment plans, treatment updates, and participate in discharge planning for each client, providing group therapy as directed by program manager to which groups they are needed, Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures.

This is a full time, 40 hour position.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or other related fields.
Experience: One (1) year direct clinical experience specific to family, individual. and group therapy with children and/or adolescents and/or adults. Experience with PTSD or DBT a plus. FOr specialized issues or treatment modalities, training must be specific to these: abuse reactive, sexual offending, substance abuse, sexual traum. vocational, play therapy, art therapy and relaxation therapy. Must have knowledge of human development over the life span.
License/Certification: Current license from the state of Florida, such as LCSW, LMFT or LMHC required.
