Responsibilities Set up and calibrate CNC lathes according to engineering specifications and work orders.Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC lathes to minimize downtime.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.Maintain accurate records of production runs, tool usage, and maintenance activities.Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.Proven experience in CNC lathe setup and operation.Strong understanding of machining principles and blueprint reading.Ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
