Private Park Slope (Brooklyn) family seeks an energetic, full-time or part-time Housekeeper to assist in the daily service of their 6-story brownstone Brooklyn residence. This is a Monday-Friday position, with flexible hours. The candidate must be detail-oriented and willing to work alongside the family's Nanny. Additionally, the candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities. This is a year-round Brooklyn based position. No travel. No pets.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Superior organization skills and willingness to go above and beyond in all aspects of the jobAssist with meal prepOrganize inventory and restock as neededAll aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning, and upkeep of the residenceAbility to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, antiques, silver, etc.)Completing the family's laundry including washing and ironing clothes as necessaryMaintaining residence for guest readiness at all timesWillingness to run routine errands such as dry cleaners, groceries, etc.Additional Housekeeper responsibilities and duties as needed and requested by the familyRequirements:Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbalExcellent references required from both current and previous employersMinimum 3 years of experience working in a private homeAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamComfortable and willing to work in a home with children Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction wellThorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, organization, fine arts, and antiquesPoised and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all timesFlexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as neededLegally able to work in the United States
