Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Manager of Consolidations to oversee the financial consolidation and reporting process for a multi-entity organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on consolidation experience, and the ability to work effectively across accounting and finance teams. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex reporting requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and close processes across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and elimination entries.
• Review financial results, investigate variances, and ensure accuracy of consolidated reporting.
• Support the preparation of financial reporting packages for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Partner with corporate accounting and finance teams to resolve consolidation and reporting issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance efficiencies.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with technical accounting matters related to consolidations, including acquisitions, divestitures, and changes in organizational structure, as applicable.
• Support consolidation system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting team members involved in the consolidation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including significant hands-on financial consolidation experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and consolidated financial reporting.
• Experience working within a multi-entity or complex corporate accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, elimination entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial reporting or consolidation systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across accounting and finance functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with publicly traded companies and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with consolidation platforms such as OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Oracle FCCS, or similar systems.
• Experience with foreign currency translation and international consolidations.
• Experience leading process improvements or financial reporting automation initiatives.

$125,000 - $155,000 base bonus equity
