Financial Reporting Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for inventory accounting, cost analysis, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory experience in a manufacturing environment and a solid understanding of standard costing and inventory controls.

Key Responsibilitie

• sMaintain and analyze inventory balances, reserves, and reconciliations
• .Perform monthly inventory rollforwards and account reconciliations
• .Analyze inventory variances, including purchase price, labor, and manufacturing variances
• .Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and financial analyses
• .Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve inventory accuracy and processes
• .Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts
• .Review and maintain standard costs and support cost updates
• .Prepare reports related to inventory valuation, gross margins, and product costing
• .Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• .Support audits by providing inventory and cost accounting documentation

Qualificatio

• nsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fiel
• d.3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or distributio
• n.Strong inventory accounting experience require
• d.Experience with standard costing and variance analysi
• s.Advanced Excel skill
• s.ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics preferre
