Key responsibilities
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; deliver GAAP financials and flux analysis.
- Oversee cost accounting: standards, BOM/routings, overhead rates, PPV/LRV, absorption, and margin analysis.
- Own inventory accounting: WIP/FG valuation, cycle counts, physicals, obsolescence, and reserves.
- Manage fixed assets and CapEx: project accounting, capitalization, depreciation, and post-audits.
- Lead plant P&L reviews; partner with Ops on KPIs, throughput, scrap, and productivity.
- Maintain accounting policies, reconciliations, and internal controls; remediate gaps.
- Coordinate external audit and PBCs; support tax with schedules and workpapers.
- Improve ERP and close tools; automate reconciliations and reporting (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/BC; BlackLine/FloQast).
- Support revenue/cost recognition, leases (ASC 842), and technical accounting as needed.
- Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff; build bench strength and succession plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred.
- 8 years progressive accounting with 3 in manufacturing; cost/inventory expertise required.
- Track record leading closes, audits, and control frameworks; SOX experience a plus.
- Advanced Excel; strong ERP proficiency and data skills.
- Clear communicator with bias for action and cross-functional partnership.
Salary : $145,000 - $185,000
