Job Summary
:hire is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, high voltage systems, and proficiency in using various diagnostic tools, including Ohmmeters and vision inspection systems. The Electrical Technician will work closely with CNC machinery and utilize AutoCAD for design and layout tasks.
Responsibilities
- Replaces and installs switches and outlets
- Replaces and installs motors and fans
- Replaces and installs thermostats
- Replaces and installs breakers and fuses
- Replaces and installs ballasts
- Installs conduit and electrical wire
- Replaces light bulbs of various voltage up to 480
- Operate Lift
Skills
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures
- Knowledge of basic principles of grounds maintenance, electricity, plumbing, masonry, engines, etc
- Knowledge of basic safety maintenance procedures
Experience
- Educational requirements- High school with specialized classes (such as vocational training)
- Experience requirements – 3 to 5 years
