Law firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join their team. This position is open to attorneys located in Baltimore, DC, New York, Chicago and LA.

Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze actual/potential conflicts
- Recommend/implement conflict resolutions, including ethical walls, disclosures, and consent letters
- Draft and review conflict waivers, engagement letter language, and related documentation
- Serve as an escalation point for complex conflict issues; collaborate with the Ethics Committee and firm leadership
- Review Outside Counsel Guidelines and advise on conflicts-related requirements
- Conduct conflicts analysis for lateral attorney candidates and coordinate resolutions pre- and post-onboarding
- Maintain accuracy of conflicts data, monitor regulatory developments, and support process improvements
- Communicate conflict findings clearly to partners, attorneys, and senior leadership
- Participate in the conflicts on-call rotation for urgent after-hours requests
- Educate attorneys and staff on conflicts procedures and ethical obligations
- JD from an accredited law school required
- Active bar membership in MD, DC, NY, or CA required
- At least 3 years of experience in conflicts in a mid- to large, multi-practice law firm required
- Strong understanding of conflicts rules (including Rules 1.7, 1.9, 1.10) and state ethics rules.
- Prior practice experience (2 years) in private law practice preferred
- Proficiency with conflicts/new business intake systems and Microsoft Office
