Oral Surgery Registered Dental Assistant - PRN (475)

Job Purpose - PRN or Temporary position:
- The Oral Surgery Registered Dental Assistant at HIRE INTRODUCTION will play a critical role in supporting the oral surgeon in delivering high-quality healthcare services. This position requires a skilled professional who is committed to patient care and possesses the necessary qualifications and experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS).

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the oral surgeon during procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and functioning properly.
- Perform all standard Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) responsibilities, including patient preparation, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Administer IV sedation under the supervision of the oral surgeon, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and manage CBCT imaging equipment, providing accurate diagnostic images for treatment planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ALS and CPR/BLS protocols to respond effectively to any emergency situations.
- Utilize bilingual skills, if applicable, to enhance communication with patients and their families.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge through DAANCE certification and other professional development opportunities.

Required Education:
- Registered Dental Assistant License by State
- CPR/BLS certified

Preferred Education:
- ALS Certification

Required Experience:
- Must have OMFS experience

Preferred Experience:
- 2 years
- CBCT

Required Skills and Abilities:
- IV Sedation

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- DAANCE Certification
- CBCT
- Bilingual is a plus
