Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, basic automation, and a strong understanding of QA processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and report defects with clear documentation.
- Participate in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and clarify expected behavior.
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentation.
- Perform root-cause analysis on issues and assist in troubleshooting.
- Support basic automation scripts or tools (optional/plus).
- Track defects using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with test case management and defect-tracking tools.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, or similar) is a plus.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
