Title – Sr. Devops Engineer
Location - Houston Texas (Onsite)
Employment Type – W2 Contract Only
Must Have:
- Must have experience in large scale applications/environments
- Must be strong in Unix/Linux
- Should have strong automation skills
- Should be very well versed in AWS
- Resiliency/performance/security/Disaster Recovery
- Must be strong in CICD like Jules and Jenkins
- Python/Shell/coding experience is a big plus
- SQL
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- 8 years of software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and core algorithms.
- Experience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environments.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, and application security.
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering results in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Awareness of industry technology trends and best practices.
