Business Operations & Strategy Manager

Position Summary:

Horatio is a global BPO operating across the US, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Colombia, partnering with high-growth and venture-backed startups. In this role, you will work directly alongside company founders and executive leadership to solve complex, cross-functional operational challenges.

Rather than focusing on reporting, you will own initiatives from start to finish—translating high-level requests into fully designed, budgeted, and actionable execution plans, then driving implementation across every impacted team.

What You Will Do: 

• Design Programs: Build fair, goal-aligned bonus structures and clearly communicate them to teams.
• Build Visibility: Develop monthly gross margin dashboards per account.
• Connect Systems: Integrate HR, workforce management, billing, and payroll (e.g., in Snowflake).
• Ensure Data Integrity: Clean and align source HR records with roles and billing rules.

Responsibilities

• Problem Framing & Analysis: Turn ambiguous problems into metrics, analyze cross-system data, and target root causes.
• Solution Design: Build end-to-end operational plans, financial/P&L models, and resolve executive objections upfront.
• Executive Buy-In: Present complete, decision-ready proposals directly to founders.
• Execution & Adoption: Lead cross-functional rollouts, build dashboards, and drive long-term tool adoption.
• Operational Leverage: Evaluate software/vendors, mitigate P&L risks, and build repeatable playbooks.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a strategic liaison and communicate insights via clear briefings/decks.
• Strategic Insights: Uncover operational growth opportunities and build trend-forecasting models (revenue, volume, churn).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Financial Modeling: Hands-on P&L, unit economics, margin, and scenario modeling.
• Data & AI Tools: Advanced Excel/Sheets, BI tools (Looker/Power BI/Tableau), SQL (a plus), and AI tools like Claude.
• Communication & Mindset: Crisp executive writing, structured problem-solving, and a focus on P&L impact over slides.
• Experience & Education: BizOps, FP&A, or consulting (preferably in BPO, staffing, or contact centers). Bachelor's degree required (MBA a plus).
• Languages: Fluent English required; Spanish strongly preferred.
