Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a FP&A Analyst to work on a contractual basis. This role provides critical support for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting functions within a finance team. The position partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making, support strategic initiatives, and measure business performance against key objectives. The work directly impacts the company’s ability to allocate resources, mitigate risks, and pursue growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support core financial processes including month-end close, quarterly forecasting, annual planning, and management reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, ensuring accuracy while identifying key variances, risks, and trends.
• Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning efforts.
• Analyze financial and operational data to generate actionable insights and present findings to leadership.
• Participate in period-end close activities and collaborate with finance team members to enhance reporting processes and efficiencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related field with a proven track record.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience; familiarity with financial systems and data tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
