Full-time, Contract, temporary to permanent

In-Office | Meridian, ID, United States

Shift: Monday to Friday 6 am - 230 pm, overtime may be required

The Opportunity

This role will initially be a contract position and will subsequently convert to a permanent role. Our client requires experience with PITs. You will have a busy and fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory efficiently and accurately.

• Pick and pack orders for timely shipment to customers.

• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure safety.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.

• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels.

• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.

• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues.

• Report any discrepancies or inventory issues to management.

• Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment.

• Follow all company policies and procedures for warehouse operations.

Experience/Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and inventory management systems.

• MUST have recent experience in operating PITs (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, stack products.

• Previous experience working with receiving, picking, shipping orders; breaking down and receipt of truck and common carrier shipments.

• Prepares orders using operating technology to prepare shipping orders.

• Stock shelves, able to lift and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Openness to participate in training programs for professional development.

• Willingness to take accountability for individual performance and success.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve targets.

• Strong attention to detail for accurate inventory inspections and audits.

• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and workspace efficiently.

• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

• Must be able to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.

• Must be fully vaccinated/be able to prove that you are fully immunized for Flu, MMR, Tetnus etc.
