Job Summary
Mail Room Processor - Glen Burnie, MD onsite
Pay rate: $18/hr, paid weekly
Shift: Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri and Sat 6am - 230pm (Wednesday and Sunday are the days off)
Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
The Opportunity
This is a contract to permanent role. This role will be physical and you must be able to sit, stand, bend and lift throughout the day. Paid training is provided and will be for 6 weeks.
Responsibilities
Open, scan, sort and process incoming mail on a daily basis.
Uses basic computer skills.
Willing to learn and be trained on Opex P40 machine to open and/or sort mail.
Stands, bends and lifts up to 10lbs, must be able to stand for long periods.
Engage in continuous learning to improve processing skills and efficiency.
Meet or exceed individual performance metrics and targets.
Utilize pipelines to track and analyze transaction success rates.
Collaborate with team members to enhance overall performance and results.
Experience/Qualifications
Completed high school diploma or GED.
Proven experience in transaction processing or similar roles is a definite asset.
Ability to meet or exceed performance metrics consistently.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Strong analytical skills to track and assess transaction success rates.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate transaction processing.
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions swiftly.
Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Must be able to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
