2nd shift mailroom processor, Lexington, KY

Full-time, Contract, 6 months with the potential for an extention or becoming permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6pm to 1230am, clean desk

Training Hours: Monday to Friday, 1030am - 6pm (2 weeks)

Pay: $17 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Scanning and process mail into a scanning machine.

• Quality check paper documents, placing and loading into boxes and pallets.

• Must be able to sit for long period, lift, bend and sort.

• Excellent attention to detail and good reading skills.

• Monitor and evaluate personal performance metrics regularly.

• Maintain organized records of all mail transactions.

• Participate in training sessions for professional development.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily processing targets.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Support the team in achieving overall departmental goals.

• Utilize mail processing software to track and manage mail flow.

• Assist in the implementation of process improvements.

• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Experience/Qualifications

• Completed Highschool diploma.

• At least 18 years of age.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in mail handling.

• Willingness to participate in training and professional development.

• Experience in mail processing or logistics operations preferred.

• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities effectively.

• Ability to monitor personal performance metrics and strive for improvement.

• Experience working in a results-oriented environment with measurable targets.

• Proficient in using mail processing software and tools.

• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.

• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate mail records.

• Proven ability to identify and report discrepancies in mail handling.
