- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
- Carry out therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve strength, mobility, range of motion, and balance
- Monitor and document patient progress, and report changes to the Physical Therapist
- Teach patients and families exercises and home techniques that support continued progress
- Coordinate care with the Physical Therapist and other members of the healthcare team
- Keep accurate, timely patient documentation
- Follow facility policies, safety and infection control protocols, and state and federal regulations
