What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk 1st Shift position at Hire Dynamics?
Hire Dynamics/Employbridge is searching for Picker/Packers for a Rock Hill, SC distribution operations by accurately selecting, preparing, and packaging products for shipment.
Primary Responsibilities for Picker/Packer:
- Retrieve products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists.
- Verify item quantities and product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport selected merchandise to packing or staging areas.
- Building product kits and promotional bundles.
- Organize materials according to established specifications and quality guidelines.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials and add shipping labels.
Pay Rate: $15
Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday (OT required during peak season)
Qualifications:
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.
- Ability to to follow instructions and work independently or part of a team.
- Cross train in all departments.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for entire 8-10 hour shift.
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements while handling products.
- Lift up to 30 pounds or more.
- Regularly bend, stoop, reach, push and pull during daily tasks.
