Hire Curated (Viva Chefs) is assisting Locale in hiring a Production Manager.

As a Kitchen Manager, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Culinary Director to scale a fast-growing culinary operation. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company that sets the highest standards for health and flavor in prepared meals.

How we cook
All sauces and dishes are scratch-made to meet our strict standards. We don’t use processed ingredients, refined sugars, emulsifiers, or seed oils, and we use exclusively organic, nutrient-dense ingredients. All meals are packed in microplastic-free glass jars. We’re reinventing how prepared meals are made at scale.
What you’ll own and how you’ll make a difference
- Lead and coach a team of 25 cooks and builders.
- Scale our cooking operation and team to meet rapid business growth.
- Create and refine processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Manage the production system that generates production/build lists.
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in large professional kitchens or food manufacturing; you’ve handled high-volume production and aren’t intimidated by it.
- A great systems thinker—always looking for ways to make operations more efficient.
- A strong people manager who coaches staff to perform at their best.
- Hands-on and willing to tackle any task.
- Strong understanding of food health and safety regulations.
- Comfortable in a rapidly changing startup environment; you’ll work with a small, amazing team to accomplish hard things.
- Proficient with computers for recipe documentation, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a strong plus.
Availability
- Tuesday – Saturday; schedule flexibility is important as we grow.
