What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Support Specialist position at Hire Connections?
Hire Connections is working with a long-time, multi-family housing, client to temporarily hire individuals to prepare and assist with their annual tradeshow event! These individuals will be working with the events team to unload supplies, event setup (chairs, tables, and any other equipment/supplies), work throughout the day of the event.
**This is a temporary 4-day assignment starting on May 12, 2026, and the last day will be May 15, 2026**
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist with unloading event equipment and supplies
- Set up event space, including tables, chairs, booths, signage, and other materials
- Greet and sign in guests at the registration booth
- Provide directions and support to attendees throughout the event
- Communicate with event staff to assist with coordination and logistics
- Perform general administrative support as needed during the event
- Help with teardown and packing up supplies at the end of the event
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills
- Comfortable with light to moderate physical activity (lifting, moving tables/chairs)
- Professional and friendly demeanor for guest interaction
