Hire Connections is partnering with a nationally recognized financial institution seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Operations Specialist to support a high-volume Trade Services team. This role is ideal for a banking professional with hands-on experience in letters of credit, documentary collections, supply chain finance, and trade-related loan processing.You’ll manage complex international trade transactions, review documentation for compliance, process payments, and collaborate with domestic and foreign banking partners in a fast-paced operations environment.Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret import, export, and standby letters of creditExamine commercial documents for compliance with UCP and ISBP standardsResolve discrepancies with customers, beneficiaries, and foreign banksProcess payments under letters of credit and banker’s acceptancesHandle documentary collections (import, export, direct)Initiate and process trade-related loan advancesProcess supply chain finance transactionsSupport loan servicing functions and funding/payment batchesApprove and release transactions for team members as assignedMaintain proper documentation and audit controlsRespond to customer inquiries related to trade products and financingRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma required5–8 years of banking or financial services operations experienceExperience with import/export letters of creditWorking knowledge of UCP and ISBP guidelinesExperience with documentary collections and trade-related loan processingStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with USDA programs (GSM, EXIM)Knowledge of ICC reimbursement rulesExperience with loan servicing systemsBackground in supply chain finance or cash managementWork Environment:Hybrid schedule (primarily remote after onboarding in Denver)Small, specialized trade services teamHigh-volume, deadline-driven operational settingThis is an excellent opportunity for a trade finance or commercial banking operations professional seeking strong exposure to international transaction processing within a stable and reputable financial institution.Pay: $28-$30/hrCompany DescriptionHIRE CONNECTIONS serves primarily the greater Denver Metro area.
