Our fast-paced catering and event company is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Event Planner to join our dynamic team. We are looking to train and develop you into a fully independent planner responsible for managing your own portfolio of events. We are a small, high-energy, and highly collaborative team where everyone jumps in to help, and your contribution is immediately valued.
This is an essential in-office position focusing on corporate events, weddings, and private gatherings.
What You'll Be Doing
This role requires a unique blend of sales, meticulous planning, and hands-on event execution.
- Client Management & Sales: Act as the primary, professional point of contact for clients. Conduct sales consultations, expertly walk clients through their event details, and manage comprehensive communication via phone and email.
- Quote & Proposal Creation: Utilize your strong computer skills and attention to detail to draft, revise, and present detailed, accurate quotes and proposals, ensuring every logistical and financial element is documented.
- End-to-End Event Coordination: Systematically manage all event logistics. This includes coordinating vendor needs, developing detailed event timelines, proactively managing the client database, and tracking budget expenditures.
- On-Site Event Leadership: Work events on-site (evenings and weekends required), acting as the lead planner to oversee setup, manage internal support staff and vendors, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless execution. This offers additional earning potential.
- Administrative Excellence: Provide essential operational support, including diligent follow-ups with potential clients, managing event files, and tracking budget expenditures to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
