Role Description The Supervisor is a contract role responsible for overseeing day-to-day program delivery, staff support, and participant experience at Hip-Hop Healing Institute. This is a hybrid position based in Greenville, NC, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Supervisor will manage and coach frontline team members, coordinate schedules, and ensure that programming for youth, families, and reentry adults is delivered consistently and in alignment with HHHI standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring caseloads, reviewing documentation for accuracy and timeliness, and collaborating with licensed partners and community organizations to support coordinated behavioral health services. The Supervisor will track program outcomes, contribute to continuous improvement, address operational issues as they arise, and support a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed environment for staff and participants.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising or leading teams in behavioral health, social services, youth development, education, or related community-based settings.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities, including scheduling, workflow management, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Demonstrated skills in relationship-building, conflict resolution, and providing supportive feedback and coaching to staff.
- Understanding of trauma-informed care, restorative or community-based approaches, and culturally responsive practices, preferably with diverse youth and reentry populations.
- Comfort collaborating with licensed behavioral health providers, community partners, and stakeholders to support integrated care.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise reports, updates, and internal communications.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing program needs in a hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, public health, criminal justice, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Previous experience in Greenville, NC or similar communities, and familiarity with local resources and service networks is beneficial.
