Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough oil changes using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring proper disposal of used fluids.
- Perform tire rotations with precision and safety.
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify potential issues such as worn belts, leaks, or brake concerns.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete basic maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Support additional maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and light repairs as needed.
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and repairs is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general automotive service.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Service technician experience that demonstrates attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.
