What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk/Medical Assistant position at Hinsdale Foot and Ankle Specialist?
The Billing Coordinator/Medical Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our busy Medical office. On a daily basis they will input all patient charges as well as handle insurance questions and billing issues.
The Billing Coordinator/Medical Assistant will enter insurance payments and check for surgical benefits. The Medical Assistant/Billing Coordinator helps with answering the phones, scheduling appointments assist the Physician and help in any other capacity as instructed by the office manager.
The Billing Coordinator/Medical Assistant must have experience in coding ICD10 and know how to look up the necessary billing codes in the coding book. Must be proficient in computers, team oriented and be able to multitask.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
